ABOUT THE JOURNALIST:
At the age of 19, I, Tayla, moved from a small country town in northeastern Victoria to the big city of Melbourne to pursue my education at Deakin University. Leaving my family behind I started a new life in aim to learn and change the lives of others by creating and writing in a way not done in the mainstream media.
I planned to create a blog that would highlight the issues not shared on everyday news platforms or getting the spotlight on social media, instead, I wanted to tell the untold story - be a voice for those who cannot speak, and shed light on hidden issues.
